Jan Levý: 30 refugees on the run

The research conducted by the University of Masaryk shows that asylum seekers are the trending topic on both public and private TV broadcasting services, but they are focused on short term solutions, such as the protection of the boarders

The spokesperson of the police of the Czech Republic, who also did an interview with Prime TIme, stated that, in fact, the action, which took place in 2016, not 2015, was in fact, a typical accident, in which the public transport stopped functioning on its way from Rokycuny. The investigation is still ongoing, but it is known that all the passengers are well and no one is hurt. When Prime Time asked about the post shared by Jan Levy, the spokesperson did not confirm that the people running from the bus were refugees, and the information is unknown. The mention of running to the fields was not confirmed.

In the Czech Republic some 30 people escaped from the bus on Monday 15th January 2015. The information was spread through popular social network Facebook:
"I went to Rocycany on Mondey and I saw a bus on the highway at Kysice, which was stopped by the police. About 30 people looking like refugees ran out of the bus and fled into the forest towards Letkov. Yesterday and today, I searched for a press or internet report and I did not find anything“ - wrote Jan Levy on his personal facebook page which is followed approximately by 900 people. Jan Levy is a member of the LDD party. Jan levy claimed during the interview with Prime Time that above mentioned
information is accurate. He concluded that the people running from the bus were refugees on the bases of their skin colour, the fact that police was present as well as the fact that they were collectively running to the nearby fields. He was confident in the accuracy of the information because he is "a highly educated politician, [He] know[s] what he saw. The leader of LDD Party, Tomica Okamura said that her colleague Jan Levy is a very „kind and trustworthy person“ when asked about the accuracy of the information provided by him on Facebook.
